Pros & Cons
● Strong all-round performance: Plenty of power (142 hp) with a punchy torque curve makes it very capable on motorways, fast A-roads, and for overtaking. It’s sportier than many tourers.
● Comfortable sporty touring setup: Decent wind protection via fairings/screens, upright enough riding position which is more comfortable over long miles than pure supersport bikes. Helpful for multi-day rides.
● Manageable seat height: 815 mm is quite reasonable for its class giving more confidence for many riders than a high adventure bike.
● Good equipment & spec: Modern features, good brakes, quality suspension, enough adjustability. It’s well-rounded.
● Good used market value in UK
A GREAT ALL ROUNDER
The Z1000SX is an excellent all rounder if you want a capable bike for any occasion, spirited rides through the countryside, motorway stints, and even town riding. This bike can handle it all!
In more build up areas this bike will look after you with how easy it is to manage around towns or in traffic with its moderate seat height and good torque, this is a happy medium that can get you to work in the week and guarantee some smiles per hour at the weekend on the back roads
With smooth power delivery, strong brakes and decent ergos. This bike loves being ridden.
